Components in flow order

The tank anchors the loop; the last component returns to it. One tank and one pump are required and cannot be deleted. Their pressure drops are fixed at zero. Move other components using the keyboard-accessible arrows.

Model assumptions & engineering use

Pump suction pressure is not NPSH available. The minimum suction pressure threshold is a gauge-pressure check only. Real NPSH evaluation requires absolute pressure, vapor pressure at fluid temperature, fluid density, elevation / datum, velocity head, and the pump manufacturer's NPSH requirement.

Preliminary analysis only. Verify system ratings and assumptions before design use. Inputs remain in this tab only; reloading restores defaults. The Python source is inline to support opening this page from disk; the runtime still requires network access.
